NERI'S TURQUOISE DREAM (April - October)

If you want to take both the land and sea tours but have limited vacation time, this package is designed especially for you. It combines the two tours into one: A portion of the tour is on a gulet/yacht, cruising along the finest coastlines. The other is on land, visiting most of the popular historic sites and exciting places.

Day 1 ARRIVAL IN ANTALYA - We welcome you at the airport, transfer you to your hotel and give an orientation.

DalyanDay 2 ANTALYA (Gulet Cruise) - Today we tour this beautiful Mediterranean city from majestic Hadrian’s Gate to the unusual medireview Grooved Minaret and visit the Archaeology Museum. Afterwards we board on the gulet. Overnight on board, in the marina. (B,D)

Day 3 ANTALYA - ADRASAN (Gulet Cruise) - Depart from Antalya, head towards Olympos via Three Islands while soaking in the breathtaking coastline with pine forests and the Turkish Mediterranean shades of blue. Visit ruins, swim, fish and simply enjoy life. Overnight at Adrasan Bay. (B,L,D)

Carian Rock TombsDay 4 ANTALYA - DEMRE - KEKOVA (Gulet Cruise) - This morning we cross Gulf of Finike and arrive at Cayagzi (ancient Andriake). Visit the ancient site of Myra and the church dedicated to Saint Nicholas. Dip and explore little coves. Anchor overnight and visit Ucagizi (ancient Teimussa). (B,L,D)

Day 5 KEKOVA - KAS - XANTOS - PATARA - FETHIYE (Gulet Cruise) - Today we go to Bayindir before ending the gulet portion of the Turquoise Dream at Kas. Then we drive along the Mediterranean coastline to Xantos where we can step back in time among the antiquities. Afterwards lounge on one of Turkey’s longest and widest beaches in Patara where St. Nicholas was born. Next leisurely stroll through Fethiye with its Lycian sarcophagi in the middle of town. (B)

Day 6 FETHIYE - DALYAN - BODRUM - This morning we get on a boat to go to Dalyan and see Carian rock tombs. In the afternoon continue to Bodrum and indulge in an international, bohemian experience enjoying the art, music and lively atmosphere. Here the sun sparkles off the white washed buildings. Visit the medireview Castle of the Crusaders, one of the finest Underwater Archaeology Museum, Mausoleum of Halicarnassus site or stroll the narrow streets, see the artists in action, make new friends and leave some energy for the hot nightlife. Remainder of Day 6 and Day 7 are at leisure. (B)

XantosDay 7 BODRUM - Since there is so much to do in and around Bodrum, today is at leisure. Popular activities include: various boat trips, snorkeling, hiking, shopping, scuba diving, touring traditional villages, etc. (B)

Day 8 BODRUM - EPHESUS - KUSADASI - In the morning we drive to Seljuk and visit Ephesus, the most important and best preserved antique city. Here we walk on marble paved roads and see the ruins: Celsus Library, Great Theater, Roman Baths, Agoras, fountains and temples including the site of one the Seven Wonders of the World, Temple of Artemis. Later we visit the House of Virgin Mary and Basilica St. John. Overnight in Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 9 KUSADASI - PERGAMUM - CANAKKALE - We visit Pergamum, important city of antiquity where parchment was invented and one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Explore the remnants: Acropolis famous for its library, one of the world's steepest theaters, Athena, Dionysos, Trajan Temples, Nike figure, ancient medical center Asklepion where Galen taught, and Red Basilica. Drive to Canakkale. (B,D)

Day 10 CANAKKALE - TROY - Today we visit the site of one of the most famous wars of ancient times, the Trojan Wars, at the legendary city of Troy. It is immortalized in Homer’s Iliad and was discovered in 1871. Drive to Istanbul. (B)

Sultan SetteeDay 11 ISTANBUL - We visit the Blue Mosque built in 1616 with Iznik tiles and stained glass. Adjacent is the site of the Hippodrome with the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi and fountain of Willhelm II. Next we admire Saint Sophia, built during the reign of emperor Justinian in 535. Afterwards we tour the Ottoman Empire's Topkapi Palace, walk through its rooms full of exquisite art and view its priceless treasures. Finally we visit the dazzling Grand Bazaar which houses many artisans and is a shopper's paradise with over 4,000 shops selling precious handmade rugs, jewelry, leather goods, souvenirs, etc. (B)

Day 12 Departure or Extension - After breakfast we transfer to the airport for the trip back home or if arrangements are made we go on another tour or a yacht cruise or a holiday resort. (B)
