Day 1 we tour Ankara, capital of Turkey. Afternoon

Day 3 we visit the Underground City of Kaymakli, where the early

ANTIQUITIES 3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS
Day 1 we tour the beautiful Mediterranean city from
majestic Hadrian’s Gate to the unusual medieval Grooved Minaret and visit the
Archaeology Museum. (L,D)
Day 2 we explore Pamphylian cities: Perge, Side,
Aspendos with their remarkably well preserved theaters and ruins. (B,L,D)

Day
1 we visit Blue Mosque built in 1616 with Iznik tiles. Then we admire St.
Sophia with its well preserved Byzantine mosaics. Next we see the Hippodrome and
Byzantine Cistern. We visit the Ottoman Empire's Topkapi Palace, walk through
its rooms and view its priceless treasures. Finally we experience the Grand
Covered Bazaar. (L)
Day 2 we go to Chora Church with its marvelous mosaics
and Suleyman the Magnificent Mosque. Next we take a boat trip on the Bosphorus.

IZMIR TOUR 1: BIRTH PLACE OF
HOMER 2 DAYS/1 NIGHT
Day
1 we drive to Seljuk and Ephesus, the most important and best preserved
antique city. We walk on marble paved roads, see the sites: Celsus Library,
Great Theater, Roman Baths, Agoras, fountains and temples including one of the
Seven Wonders of the World, Artemis Temple. Later visit the House of Virgin Mary
and St. John Basilica. (L)
Day 2 we go to Pergamum, an important antique city.
Explore the remnants: Acropolis famous for its library, theater, temples, figure
of Nike. Next we go to the ancient medical center Asklepion where Galen taught,
and theater, Athena, Dionysos, Trajan temples, figure Red Basilica. (B,L)
IZMIR
TOUR 2: JEWISH HERITAGE &
MORE 2 DAYS/1 NIGHT
Day 1 we visit the many centuries old Jewish
neighborhoods: Beth Israel & Signora Synagogues, lively and colorful Havra
& Dario Moreno Streets. We go to Sardis, the ancient capital of Lydia, once
the world's richest city. First coins were made here. Sites include Artemis
Temple, a Roman stadium, Roman baths, a theater, one of the world’s oldest
synagogues with some intact mosaic pavements. Overnight in Izmir. (L)
Day 2 choose full day tour Ephesus or Pergamum. (B,L)
IZMIR TOUR 3: SEVEN CHURCHES OF
REVELATION 3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS *
Day 1 our tour begins in Izmir/Smyrna (St. John in Book
of Revelations: 2:8-11), we drive to Pergamum (Revelation 2:12-17). Visit the
Acropolis famous for its library, theater, the ancient medical center Asklepion
where Galen taught and the Red Basilica. Next we go to Thyatira (Revelation
2:18-29 Acts 16:14), Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6) and Philadelphia (Revelation
3:7-13). Overnight in Pamukkale. (L,D)
Day 2 starts with a visit to Hierapolis then Laodicea
(Revelation 3:14-22). Next we go to Ephesus (Revelation 1:11:2:1-17 Acts
18:19-28:19) and see its well preserved ruins. Overnight in Izmir. (B,L)
